What We Do

At Senses Mind & Body we specialise in holistic stress reduction. We understand the detrimental effects of stress on the human body, which is why we treat stress from a holistic perspective. Our goal is to address the physical, cognitive, and behavioural symptoms of stress, including fatigue, aches, pains, tense muscles, insomnia, constant worrying, forgetfulness, poor judgment, lack of or increased appetite, and nervous behaviours such as fidgeting, pacing, or nail-biting.

To combat stress, we have adopted a three-pronged approach that includes exercise, wellness coaching, and relaxation treatments. Exercise affects neurotransmitters in the brain like serotonin and dopamine, which are responsible for mood and actions.

 

Our relaxation treatments allow you to calm your busy mind, release aches, pains, and muscle tension, and promote deep sleep, sleep is crucial to reducing stress. We also offer wellness coaching, which provides a non-judgmental place of understanding and support where clients can express their thoughts and feelings and take positive steps toward achieving wellbeing.
